Holland Privileged to Receive 2016 New Partner Award from Goodwill Industries

Holland received the 2016 New Partner Award from Goodwill Industries of Greater Grand Rapids, Michigan for our partnership with Goodwill’s veterans program.

Holland hosted a Veteran Networking Event that created an accommodating environment for both veterans and employers. Employers were better able to understand the military culture veterans come from, and veterans were better able to understand employers’ needs and how their skills can translate to meet those needs.

The recognition was given at the fifth annual Goodwill Awards recognizing “best in class” partners for their hiring and training of Goodwill program participants and commitment to the Goodwill mission.

The awards took place October 10, 2016 at Frederik Meijer Gardens with special guest speaker, Jim Gibbons, President and CEO of Goodwill Industries International.
